Job summary

Crossroads Treatment Centers is seeking a Substance Abuse Counselor to provide individual counseling and conduct clinical assessments for patients with opioid use disorder. The role includes designing and updating treatment plans with care coordination, referrals, and discharge planning.

You will manage a caseload, collaborate with nurses and providers for holistic care, and facilitate urine drug screening. Licensing in SC is required or preferred; early morning availability is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field required.
• Master’s degree in behavioral health preferred.
• SC license/certification required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides individual counseling to highly complex patients.
• Conducts clinical assessments to determine treatment needs.
• Designs and updates the patient’s treatment plan, including care coordination, referrals, and discharge planning.
• Manages assigned caseload and ensures compliance with clinical requirements.
• Collaborates with nurses and providers to deliver holistic treatment services.
• Facilitates urine drug screening for patients.
