FCC in Wisconsin is seeking a Substance Abuse Counselor - In Training to deliver evidence-based counseling and support to clients. The role emphasizes trauma-informed care, motivational interviewing, and recovery-oriented approaches while maintaining documentation and confidentiality.

As part of a team, you will manage a substantial caseload, participate in supervision, and provide community-based services when needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
• Working toward full licensure and being third-party billable as a substance use disorder professional.
• Must be in good standing with licensing board.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.

Responsabilités

• Provide substance abuse counseling services within scope of expertise.
• Maintain full caseload of treatment services.
• Maintain documentation and releases for clients.
• Provide assessments and treatment plans with timely reviews.
• Collaborate with supervisor and attend supervision meetings.
