Job summary

NEW Community Clinic Inc Ltd is seeking an Substance Use Therapist In-Training to provide outpatient counseling for individuals with substance use and co-occurring mental health needs in a collaborative, integrated care setting.

The role emphasizes teamwork, whole-person care, and community impact, with duties including assessments, treatment planning, crisis support, and collaboration with medical and psychiatric providers.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Psychology, Counseling, or Social Work from an accredited program.
• State of Wisconsin APSW/LPC-IT or LCSW/LPC licensure in training or licensed required.
• Substance Use specialty SAC-IT, SAC, or CSAC required.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient counseling and assessment for substance use disorders.
• Maintain a full-time outpatient therapy caseload.
• Deliver individual and group therapy sessions.
• Coordinate care with primary care and psychiatric teams.
• Document in EPIC EMR and support care coordination.
• Assist with crisis stabilization as needed.
• Stay current with licensure and continuing education.
