Advance Clinical Services in Wisconsin seeks a compassionate Substance Use Counselor to join the clinical team and deliver outpatient SUD treatment in line with DHS 75 standards and DSPS licensure.

The role includes intake assessments, treatment planning, evidence-based counseling, documentation, and collaboration with medical and community providers to ensure holistic care and ongoing quality improvement.

Qualifications

• Certification or licensure in Wisconsin for SUD treatment (DSPS) required or obtainable on hire.
• Experience with outpatient SUD services and integrated behavioral health a plus.
• Knowledge of DHS 75 standards and Medicaid/third-party billing preferred.

Responsabilités

• Conduct intake assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and ongoing treatment planning.
• Deliver outpatient counseling and case management services per DHS 75.
• Use ASAM criteria to guide level-of-care decisions.
• Coordinate with medical, mental health, and community providers for holistic care.
• Document services, treatment plans, progress notes, and records per ACS policies.
• Participate in interdisciplinary treatment teams and clinical supervision.
• Provide client education on recovery, relapse prevention, and wellness.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with ethical and regulatory standards.
• Engage in professional development and licensure maintenance.
