FCC is seeking a Substance Abuse Counselor - In Training to provide counseling services and support outpatient clients within a nonprofit setting in Sparta, WI. The position reports to the Clinical Coordinator and requires maintaining caseloads and adherence to HIPAA and agency policies.

The role emphasizes training toward licensure, confidentiality, and collaboration with teams to deliver evidence-based care that improves client outcomes and community health.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Counseling, Social Work or related field preferred; licensure pursued.
• Be in good standing with licensing board and working toward full licensure as a substance use disorder professional.
• Ability to market services and align with the agency's mission, vision and values.

Responsabilidades

• Provide substance abuse counseling services to individuals, couples, families and groups within scope of expertise.
• Maintain a full caseload and document care consistent with HIPAA and agency policies.
• Maintain client files using the Electronic Health Record system and ensure timely documentation.
• Coordinate with referral sources and promote a positive image of services in the community.
