Groups Recover Together is seeking a Counselor to lead dynamic group therapy sessions and contribute to member-centered care teams in a mission-driven environment.

You will facilitate evidence-based group curricula, collaborate with prescribers and recovery coaches, and monitor client progress while promoting a recovery-oriented atmosphere. Flexible schedule may require 2–3 evenings per week.

Qualifications

• Active LCSW license and two years’ group facilitation experience in a SUD setting.
• Proficiency with EMR, Telehealth software, Google Docs/Sheets/Drive, and mobile apps.
• Commitment to compassionate, recovery-oriented care and member success.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do

• Lead 3-4 one-hour group therapy sessions per day using a structured, evidence-based curriculum.
• Facilitate group discussions using a “plug and play” approach from approved modalities to meet members where they are within the guardrails of our clinical framework.
• Collaborate with prescribers, care navigators, and recovery coaches.
• Monitor member progress and document outcomes.
• Support a positive, recovery-oriented environment for members.
• Engage in local community outreach to promote Groups’ mission.

Qualifications

• An active license LCSW
• Minimum two years’ leading groups in a SUD setting.
• High comfort level with Technology: EMR, Telehealth software, Google products (Gmail, Google Docs/Sheets/Drive), mobile apps, etc.
• Compassion, collaboration, commitment to quality care, and an investment in member success.
• Ability to work 2-3 evenings per week up to 9pm as needed.
• Other preferred backgrounds, experience, and skills include: mental health, social work, substance use disorder treatment, therapy, human services, social services, medication assisted treatment or MAT.
