Job summary

Groups Recover Together, Inc. is seeking a Counselor to lead 3-4 daily group therapy sessions and support a recovery-centered team. The role emphasizes collaboration with prescribers, care navigators, and recovery coaches while maintaining documentation of outcomes.

Ideal candidates hold a behavioral health license and have at least two years of group therapy experience in SUD settings; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus and may be required for some roles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree required in a related field.
• Behavioral health licensure required; e.g., LCSW, LPC, LMHC, MCAP, LMFT, CAP.
• Minimum two years leading group therapy in an SUD setting.
• Proficient with EMR, Telehealth, Google products, and mobile apps.
• Compassion, collaboration, and commitment to quality care.
• Ability to work 2–3 evenings per week, until 9pm.

$4,000 Sign-On Bonus for Clinicians with Professional Fluency in Spanish and English

Salary Range: $57,625 - $68,761 *Based on experience, and education

Schedule

• Monday: 9:00 AM - 8:00 PM
• Tuesday: 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM
• Wednesday: 10:00 AM - 8:00 PM
• Thursday: 9:00 AM - 7:00 PM (WFH)

Responsibilities

What You'll Do

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree
• Required licensure or certification*: Behavioral health licensure including but not limited to: LCSW, LPC, LMHC, MCAP, LMFT, CAP with ability and willingness to obtain licensure reciprocity in other states
• Minimum two years of experience leading group therapy in a SUD setting.
• High comfort level with Technology: EMR, Telehealth software, Google products (Gmail, Google Docs/Sheets/Drive), mobile apps, etc.
• Compassion, collaboration, commitment to quality care, and an investment in member success.
• Ability to work 2-3 evenings per week up to 9pm as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bilingual in English and Spanish (written and verbal proficiency preferred)
• Experience working in multilingual or multicultural environments is a plus
• Other preferred backgrounds, experience, and skills include: mental health, social work, substance use disorder treatment, therapy, human services, social services, medication assisted treatment or MAT
