Job summary

Groups Recover Together is seeking a Counselor to lead 3-4 one-hour group therapy sessions daily within our member-centered care teams in West Virginia. You will implement a structured, evidence-based curriculum and collaborate with prescribers, care navigators, and recovery coaches to support a recovery-oriented environment.

The role requires a Master's degree, licensed or eligible, and at least two years’ experience leading groups in a substance use disorder setting.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree required.
  • Preferred: Active behavioral health licensure including but not limited to: ADC, AADC, LPC, LICSW and associate level status with ability and willingness to obtain licensure reciprocity in other states
  • Minimum two years’ leading groups in a SUD setting.
  • High comfort level with Technology: EMR, Telehealth software, Google products (Gmail, Google Docs/Sheets/Drive), mobile apps, etc.
  • Compassion, collaboration, commitment to quality care, and an investment in member success.
  • Ability to work 2-3 evenings per week up to 9pm as needed.
  • Other backgrounds, experience, and skills include: mental health, social work, substance use disorder treatment, therapy, human services, social services, MAT.

Salary Range

$ 53,041 - $63,565 * Based on experience, and education
