Job summary

The Willamette Family Downtown Eugene facility is seeking a Substance Abuse Assessment Counselor for a full-time, in-person role. The position offers a 40-hour workweek with a 12:00pm–8:30pm shift, Monday through Friday, at our downtown campus in Eugene, OR.

You will collect and compile information to assess service needs, document findings, initiate referrals, and engage individuals in services while upholding legal and ethical standards.

Qualifications

• CADC I certification or CADC-R near certification.
• High school diploma or GED completed.
• Criminal background check and pre-employment drug screen required.

Responsibilities

• Collect and compile information to assess and determine the appropriate need for services.
• Document findings and initiate referrals.
• Engage individuals in services and ensure alignment with the agency's mission.
• Cross-train with other department positions and assist with intake and customer service as needed.

Education
