Job summary

Willamette Family, Inc. in Eugene, OR seeks a Substance Abuse Assessment Counselor for a full-time, in-person role at our downtown treatment facility. You will collect and compile information to assess service needs, document findings, initiate referrals, and engage individuals in care.

The position operates Monday–Friday, 12:00pm–8:30pm with a starting wage of $26.57/hour. Willamette Family offers a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for cross-training within the agency.

Qualifications

• CADC I Certification or Above, CADC- R Candidates close to certifying may be considered.
• High school / GED Completion

Responsibilities

• Collect and compile sufficient information to assess and determine the appropriate need for services, document the results of findings, initiate referrals, and engage individuals in services.
• Assurance of legal and ethical standards.
• Overall assurance that service delivery is consistent with the agency’s mission.
• This position will be cross-trained with other department positions. Duties may include performing functions of other positions on any given workday such as intake and customer service.
