Job summary

Goldbelt Glacier is seeking a Prevention Coordinator to support the National Guard Bureau (NG), J1 Warrior Resiliency & Fitness (WRF) SAP and Suicide Prevention programs. The role emphasizes briefing, data entry into DAMIS/ALURRT, and coordinating SAP/SP trainings for Service members and ARNG units.

Responsibilities include quarterly briefings, timely data reporting, and adherence to AR 600‑85 and AR 350‑53 standards. A flexible schedule and CAC background check are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in related field plus a minimum of four years of practical experience in Substance Abuse Prevention, Suicide Prevention, or Resilience, and program and case management, or 10 years of practical experience.
• Experience in instructing and briefing skills, demonstrating flexibility with various audiences.
• Ability to work a variable schedule, including many weekends for training.

Responsibilities

• Shall provide information briefing (Quarterly) on State and National level Substance Abuse and Suicide Prevention.
• Shall input SAP and SP training and applicable information into the Drug and Alcohol Management Information System (DAMIS) and ALURRT within 48 hours of receipt.
• Shall electronically report all scheduled SAP and SP training within 48 hours of training completion.
• Shall input all assessment/referral and treatment data of Service Members into DAMIS within 24 hours of appointment.
• Shall coordinate and conduct SAP Training (which includes annual prevention training, targeted prevention training, and ADAPT (Prime for Life/MyPrime training and certifications)) and SP Training (which includes annual prevention training and ACE-SI) for Service members, families and ARNG units that meet or exceed the requirements in AR 600-85 and AR 350-53.
