Job summary

Management & Training Corporation (MTC) is seeking a full-time role at the Flint Hills Job Corps Center in Manhattan, KS. The employee will oversee TEAP, TUPP, and community referrals, with emphasis on awareness, prevention, education, intervention, and staff training related to substance use.

The position requires an active substance abuse certification or state license (CADC/CRADC), at least 1 year of experience, and strong written and verbal communication skills.

Qualifications

• Active substance abuse certification or state license preferred (CADC/CRADC).
• Minimum of 1 year experience in related field or role.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and basic computer proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Develop and promote coordination of substance abuse components with health education and center activities.
• Advise center leadership on substance use issues including costs, staffing, and referrals.
• Provide counseling and personal development sessions on substance use/abuse.
• Assess students, plan interventions, and coordinate TEAP/TUPP education for students and staff.
• Document assessments and plans in students' medical records.
