Job summary

ARS Treatment Centers, a network of outpatient clinics specializing in opioid use disorder, seeks a Counselor to join the Winchester team. The Counselor provides direct counseling and case management, including individual and group sessions, assessments, and aftercare planning.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or similar; a Master’s degree is preferred. CSAC certification or eligibility for CSAC supervision is required for progression.

  • Bachelor’s degree in psychology, counseling, social work or similar (required).
  • Master’s degree preferred for advancement.
  • CSAC certification or eligibility for CSAC supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain caseload per State Regulations.
  • Psychosocial assessment and interpretive summary according to ARS policy timelines.
  • Prepare Preliminary Treatment Plan with patient participation.
  • Update Treatment Plan after Comprehensive Treatment Plan completion.
  • Prepare aftercare transition plan before discharge.

The Counselor will adhere to the vision and mission of the Company.Duties and Responsibilities:Maintain caseload per State RegulationsAssures incoming patients have psychosocial assessment and a interpretive summary according to the timeline in the ARS Policies and Procedure ManualCompletes, with patient participation, a Preliminary Treatment Plan according to the timeline in the ARS Policies and Procedure Manual.Completes a Treatment Plan Review and update for each patient after completion of the Comprehensive Treatment Plan according to the timeline in the ARS Policies and Procedure ManualPrepares an aftercare transition plan for all patients at the earliest possible time and to review prior to dischargeBe proficient with State Licensure Standards, CARF Standards, 42 CFR and HIPAA standards and Company policiesBachelor’s degree in psychology, counseling, social work or similarMasters PreferredMust be CSAC or eligible for CSAC supervision
