Job summary

ARS Treatment Centers in Aberdeen, MD is seeking a Counselor to provide direct counseling and case management services, including individual and group sessions, assessments, individualized treatment plans, counseling and aftercare services. The Counselor will adhere to the organization’s vision and mission.

• MAT / Addictions experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain caseload per State Regulations.
• Assures incoming patients have psychosocial assessment and an interpretive summary according to ARS Policies.
• Completes, with patient participation, a Preliminary Treatment Plan according to the ARS timeline.
• Completes a Treatment Plan Review and update for each patient after completion of the Comprehensive Treatment Plan.
• Prepares an aftercare transition plan for all patients at the earliest possible time.
• Be proficient with State Licensure Standards, CARF Standards, 42 CFR and HIPAA standards.
