Job summary

BAART Programs is seeking a compassionate Counselor Supervisor to oversee counselors and interns delivering treatment and casework in an outpatient setting. The role ensures compliant services, timely documentation, and adherence to program policies.

The supervisor will manage caseloads, monitor treatment quality, train new staff, and participate in interviews and staff development activities. A CA SUD background with supervisory experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• SUD Counseling and supervisory responsibilities.
• Experience with treating substance use disorders (SUD).
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise counselors and counselor interns to ensure compliant service delivery.
• Monitor treatment and counseling for all patients and supervise staff performance.
• Assist with intake, case planning, and documentation; ensure quality assurance.
• Oversee staff training, interviews, and staff meetings; support licensure/certification needs.

Education

Bachelor in Behavioral Science or equivalent
