Job summary

BAART Programs in Fresno is seeking a compassionate Counselor Supervisor to oversee counselors and interns providing treatment in a compliant outpatient setting. The role ensures timely documentation and effective delivery of services while managing caseloads and staff performance.

Requirements include CA SUD counseling with supervisory experience, a Bachelor's in Behavioral Science or equivalent, and strong communication skills. A drug screen and background check are required.

Qualifications

• SUD Counselor in CA with supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience with SUD, the ability to develop comprehensive treatment plans and chart accurately and excellent oral and written communication skills are required.
• Previous experience working with chemically dependent individuals is a plus. Must demonstrate a positive, non‑judgmental attitude.
• Satisfactory drug screen and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Supervise counselors and interns and ensure delivery of counseling services.
• Monitor treatment and counseling of patients and ensure quality documentation.
• Assign caseloads, oversee intake and eligibility processes.
• Provide clinical supervision and oversee staff training and evaluations.
• Facilitate staff meetings and participate in program development activities.
• Travel as necessary.

Education
