Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted license or certification to practice substance abuse counseling.

• Minimum of 1 year experience in drug/alcohol counseling or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Counsel students individually and in groups on substance abuse.
• Develop and implement alcohol, drug and tobacco prevention activities.
• Administer the center's drug testing program to promote a drug-free environment.
• Maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance for sensitive information.
• Mentor students and coordinate case management to support retention and success.
• Plan, prioritize and organize assignments to meet goals and deadlines.
• Collaborate with staff across departments to provide integrated services.
