GBX Consultants, Inc. is seeking an Alcohol and Drug Counselor to conduct substance-use assessments for Job Corps students and to develop individualized intervention plans.

The role includes counseling, relapse-prevention support, and coordinating prevention activities with center staff and community agencies. The counselor will lead group sessions, design educational activities, and ensure confidentiality of health records in accordance with HIPAA.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current, valid, unrestricted license in a counseling discipline.
• Minimum one year of experience as a licensed practitioner focused on substance abuse prevention or education.
• Experience providing assessment and treatment services to adolescents and young adults.

Responsabilités

• Conduct substance-use assessments for students and develop intervention plans.
• Coordinate with center counselors and health providers to update intervention plans and behavioral contracts.
• Provide group counseling and relapse-prevention support and coordinate prevention activities.
