Job summary

Amity Foundation in Tucson, AZ seeks a Counselor (Demonstrator) to provide group and individual sessions in an outpatient setting. The role includes rehabilitative treatment services, documentation, and collaboration with supervisory staff.

Responsibilities include monitoring student progress, maintaining confidential records, attending trainings, and supporting community advocacy as needed. A behavioral health background with relevant certifications is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a behavioral health field or equivalent experience.
• Experience in substance abuse or behavioral health settings preferred.
• Knowledge of therapeutic community processes is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Leads group and individual sessions under supervision and supports treatment plans.
• Observes and records changes in students and maintains records securely.
• Prepares documentation to meet Amity and contract requirements.
• Attends workshops and trainings as requested.
• May support community advocacy activities when needed.
