Crossroads Treatment Centers in Virginia seeks a Substance Abuse Counselor to provide individual counseling for highly complex patients and conduct thorough clinical assessments to tailor each treatment plan. You will coordinate care, discharge planning, and collaborate with nurses to deliver holistic treatment.

The role requires managing a caseload with strict adherence to regulatory requirements, and guiding patients through evidence-based MAT options.

Qualifications

• Active licensure in VA (LPC/LCSW/LMFT/LSATP) or CSAC eligibility.
• Experience with underserved populations in clinical settings.
• Lived addiction experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual counseling to highly complex patients.
• Conduct clinical assessments to determine treatment needs.
• Design and update patient treatment plans, including care coordination and discharge planning.
• Manage caseload and ensure compliance with treatment requirements.
• Collaborate with nurses and providers to deliver holistic care.
• Facilitate urine drug screening for patients.
