Job summary

New Season Treatment Centers is seeking a Substance Abuse Counselor to engage with patients through individual, group, and family counseling within a collaborative treatment team. The role supports patient well‑being and clinical needs across the program.

Essential duties include completing intakes and psychosocial assessments, documenting progress, and developing treatment plans. At least 20 hours of direct patient contact weekly is required; benefits begin on DAY ONE and education/licensing

Qualifications

• Experience in substance abuse treatment preferred
• Strong counseling and psychosocial assessment skills
• Ability to work with a multidisciplinary team

Responsibilities

• Complete intakes, admissions, discharges, and transfers
• Document patient progress through counseling and groups
• Develop individualized treatment plans within required timelines
• Conduct individual, group, and family counseling
• Ensure at least 20 hours of direct patient contact weekly
