Job summary

DeCoach Recovery is seeking a Substance Abuse Counselor (CDCA, LCDC) in Cincinnati, OH. The role supports clients with substance use and behavioral health challenges within a collaborative team, Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm.

You will develop individualized treatment plans, ensure quality documentation, and contribute to evidence-based care. The position requires active certification (CDCA, LCDC II/III, LICDC or higher) and a commitment to ongoing professional development in a fast-paced clinical

Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with colleagues.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to build rapport with clients.
Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with best practices.

Responsibilities

Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for clients with substance use and behavioral health concerns.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with standards and policies.
Participate in team meetings, supervision, and consultations to ensure optimal client care.
Promote a growth-oriented culture and stay informed on latest research and practices.
