Job summary

DeCoach Recovery is seeking an Assessor for our Dayton team. The hours are Monday to Friday, 11:30am–8:00pm, with a focus on counseling individuals facing substance use and behavioral health challenges.

You will work within a collaborative team to deliver solution-focused care and help clients overcome barriers. The role involves running sessions, documenting progress, and contributing to a growth-oriented culture through ongoing professional development and collaboration with colleagues.

Qualifications

• Ability to work effectively in a team with diverse professionals.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and documentation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate and run individual and group counseling sessions.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation including progress notes and treatment plans.
• Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and supervision.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and stay current with best practices.
• Provide culturally competent and inclusive care to diverse clients.
• Offer crisis intervention and coordinate with resources for client safety.
