Job summary

CARDINAL RECOVERY is seeking a full-time Substance Abuse Counselor to provide individual and group counseling, complete documentation, and participate in treatment planning and case coordination. The ideal candidate will hold at least a CDCA, with LCDC preferred, and be committed to compassionate care in Ohio.

Qualifications

• CDCA certification is required.
• Ohio state license as LCDC preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and/or group counseling to clients.
• Complete accurate and timely documentation of services.
• Participate in treatment planning and case coordination.
• Maintain compliance with state and agency regulations.
• Collaborate with case managers, drivers and staff as needed.
• Willingness to pursue Certified Case Manager designation if not certified.
