Job summary

Schlumberger Limited in Houston invites applications for a Tree Projects Engineer to develop and execute Subsea Tree Projects in accordance with industry standards and client requirements. You will prepare technical documentation and may lead a team of mechanical engineers within a project.

The role requires 5+ years in mechanical engineering and subsea systems, a degree in mechanical engineering, strong organization and communication skills, and the ability to work legally in the US.

Qualifications

• Experience in Subsea Trees.
• 5 or more years of experience in Mechanical Engineering, Subsea Systems, Subsea projects
• Master's Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Excellent organization skills and excellent communication skills, both oral and written
• Thorough understanding of machining, manufacturing, hydraulic drawings
• Candidates must be able to legally work and reside in the US.

Responsibilities

• The Tree Projects Engineer performs a variety of engineering work in the development and execution of Subsea Tree Projects in accordance with industry standards and client requirements.
• Prepare technical documentation for customers, perform engineering calculations to analyze operating parameters, and lead a team of Mechanical engineers within a project.
• Accountable for the engineering execution of technical projects that meet internal and client requirements while managing project deliverables, engineering budgets, schedules, and customer interfaces.
• Liaise with the client and coordinate internal stakeholders.
• Responsible for top level design and documentation, testing procedures, assembly drawings, schematics and operating manuals.
• Lead project design reviews and provide status updates to Engineering Management.
• Monitor/expedite manufacturing/testing and provide technical support to manufacturing/assembly.
