Job summary
Wood is seeking a Lead Designer/Draftsman to join our team in Houston, Texas. This hybrid position offers an exciting opportunity to participate in various projects using industry-leading CAD software.
The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in structural/mechanical design with expertise in Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD. Responsibilities include creating 3D models and drafting deliverables for subsea system components.

Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience with Autodesk Inventor, version 2018 or newer.
- 10+ years of experience with AutoCAD, version 2013 or newer.
- 10+ years of structural/mechanical design experience.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities
- Create/modify 3D parametric models of subsea system components.
- Generate drawing deliverables for concept and detailed design.
- Plan and execute drafting support for assigned projects.
- Deliver drawings on schedule and within budget.
