Job summary

SLB seeks a Subsea Tree Projects Engineer in Houston to drive engineering execution for subsea tree projects. You will coordinate with internal teams and clients, own design documentation, and lead reviews while ensuring safety and compliance with industry standards.

The role requires 5+ years in mechanical engineering, and experience with subsea systems, machining, and hydraulic drawings. Strong communication and leadership skills are essential in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in Subsea Trees, Subsea systems, Subsea projects
• 5+ years of experience in Mechanical Engineering
• Master's or Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering
• Excellent organization and communication skills (oral and written)
• Thorough understanding of machining, manufacturing, hydraulic drawings
• Legal right to work in the US

Responsibilities

• Accountable for the engineering execution of technical projects meeting requirements, budgets, and schedules
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders and the client
• Own top level design and documentation, including tests, drawings, specs, and manuals
• Lead design reviews with internal and external teams
• Provide status updates to Engineering Management
• Support manufacturing/testing and provide technical guidance
