DeepOcean has an exciting opportunity for a Project Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis located in Houston, TX.

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Project Engineer, you will play a vital role in supporting our engineering and operations teams. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to offshore projects and make a significant impact in the field.

Duties and responsibilities
  • Participate in engineering, planning, and execution of subsea projects
  • Collaborate with the team to identify and address technical challenges, ensuring effective communication and coordination.
  • Perform sea fastening calculations, rigging design, and lift plans
  • Review risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to ensure operational safety and compliance with industry standards.
  • Assist in vessel mobilization and offshore operation
  • Tendering activities and evaluation of subsea projects
  • Participate in development of equipment and installation methods
  • Create new designs/fabrication of tools/structures to enhance operational performance
  • Communicate with clients and sub-contractors
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Liaise with HSEQS to ensure all project/tender specific HSEQS requirements are achieved
Requirements

B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree within relevant engineering discipline (Civil, Mechanical, Marine/Ocean, or related field)

3-8 years of relevant experience

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically to identify innovative solutions.
