Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's in Robotics, Mechanical, Electrical, CS, or related field.
  • Experience developing robotic software using ROS 2.
  • Experience developing software on Linux.
  • Proficient in Python and C++.
  • Experience with dynamic systems, feedback control, or autonomous systems.
  • Familiar with Git-based version control, debugging, testing, and documentation.
  • U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain Interim Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Develop robotics software for AUVs/ROVs using ROS 2.
  • Design, implement, and maintain modular C++/Python software on Linux.
  • Develop dynamics, controls, guidance, navigation, and autonomy algorithms.
  • Build high-fidelity simulation environments to support development and planning.
  • Integrate sensors, actuators, and subsystems into robust software architectures.
  • Evaluate performance via simulation, lab testing, and field experiments.
  • Support integration and testing in lab, pool, and at-sea environments.
  • Collaborate across teams to transition software to operational systems.
