Job summary

Wood is seeking a Subsea Controls Engineer with 10-20+ years of experience to work in the Subsea Controls group at the Houston, TX office. The role focuses on software design and delivery for subsea controls projects, acting as a technical focal point for customers and internal teams.

The engineer will need to be conversant in subsea production operations, control system design and software, as well as manufacturing, testing and installation to ensure objectives are met safely and effectively.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in subsea controls design and delivery.
• Experience with subsea production operations, control system design and software.
• Familiar with manufacturing, testing and installation processes.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Subsea Controls Group objectives are met to a high standard.
• Serve as the technical focal point for customers, subsea contractors, suppliers and internal teams.

Wood is currently searching for aSubsea Controls Engineerwith 10-20+ years experience in subsea controls, specializing in software design and delivery, to work on various projects for the Subsea Controls group in the Houston, TX office.

Their primary function is to ensure that the objectives of the Subsea Controls Group and its Customers are performed to an expected high standard and that specific work tasks are performed safely, effectively and in compliance with their specified objectives. The Subsea Controls Engineer shall be conversant in subsea production operations, control system design and software, manufacturing, testing and installation, and provide a technical focal point for the Customer, Subsea Contractor(s), Suppliers / Vendors and other internal departments.
