Job summary

The Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra is seeking a Patron Services Representative to support the Marketing Department by cultivating relationships with Subscribers and donors to grow sales and giving efforts.

You will renew subscriptions, solicit donations, manage ticketing, and provide concierge service to Patrons, collaborating with colleagues to meet individual and organizational goals in a hybrid, evening/weekend friendly environment at Heinz Hall.

Qualifications

• Experience in Customer Service, Fundraising, or Sales is required.
• Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Must be comfortable speaking on a telephone.
• Strong computer skills; working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Highly organized, professional, and detail-oriented.
• Must be able to function as part of a team.
• Ability to problem-solve independently and refer patron issues when needed.
• Must handle personal and privileged patron information discreetly.
• Ability to work irregular hours, including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Actively renew and increase subscriptions via phone, email, web, and in person.
• Renew and solicit donations as an add-on to subscription calls.
• Establish, cultivate, and promote relationships with designated PSO patrons.
• Facilitate ticketing needs for subscribers and donors.
• Provide outstanding personal concierge service for Patrons.
• Collaborate with team to achieve department and organizational goals.
• Enter data into Tessitura; communicate with Manager/VP as needed.
• Attend department meetings, receptions, and events as necessary.
• All other duties as assigned.
