Job summary

Hydrogen Group is seeking a Claims Analyst I in San Diego to investigate and resolve recovery/subrogation claims when third parties damage company property. The role includes liability analysis, evidence gathering, negotiations with claimants and insurers, and pursuing recovery with up to $15,000 settlement authority.

The position is onsite Monday-Thursday with remote on Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. and a 2-year contract, offering a competitive hourly pay range of $28.50–$33.50.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field, or equivalent training and/or experience (required).
• Minimum 3 years of experience in claims administration/investigation, liability analysis, and case management, including general liability, bodily injury, motor vehicle accidents, and/or subrogation (required).
• Subrogation and multi-line casualty experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Investigate, analyze, and pursue recovery against entities that damage company facilities, property, and equipment
• Support general liability claims by investigating and determining liability for personal injury, bodily injury, casualty, loss of business, and property loss or damage
• Negotiate settlements with claimants and insurers within the $15,000 settlement authority threshold
• Oversee claims processing and payments to third-party providers
