Job summary

The Judge Group is seeking qualified candidates for a claims handler role in San Diego, CA. You will investigate property, BI, and liability claims, determine liability, assess damages, and pursue recovery from responsible third parties.

You will manage the full lifecycle of claims, review documentation for accuracy, and coordinate with carriers, attorneys, and vendors to reach timely, cost-effective resolutions. Strong communication and analytical skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in claims handling or related fields.
• Strong knowledge of claims investigation, liability determination, and recovery.
• Experience with claims processing, payment review, and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and analyze claims involving property damage, bodily injury, motor vehicle accidents, general liability, and subrogation.
• Determine liability, evaluate damages, and assess claim validity based on evidence.
• Pursue recovery opportunities against third parties for damages to facilities, equipment, and assets.
• Manage claims lifecycle from intake to final resolution and closure.
• Review and maintain claims documentation for accuracy and compliance.
• Coordinate with carriers, claimants, attorneys, vendors, and stakeholders to resolve claims.
• Oversee claims payments to third parties and verify charges are correct.
