Job summary

Reserv is seeking a Subrogation Team Lead to drive recovery strategies and improve outcomes across auto and property claims. You will lead, coach, and coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to optimize processes, timelines, and recovery results.

You will design and implement policies, monitor performance, and present insights to clients. A strong background in subrogation, arbitration, and claims systems is essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in claims, subrogation, operations, or related field.
• 3+ years handling subrogation recovery for auto and/or property; 2+ years in leadership, arbitration experience
• Strong understanding of liability, comparative negligence, and recovery principles.
• Experience coordinating external subrogation partners preferred.
• Highly organized with attention to detail and follow-through.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with claims systems, arbitration forums, or subrogation workflows.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of subrogation coordination, tactical execution, and long-term strategic thinking.
• Serve as the primary contact for third-party subrogation vendors.
• Monitor vendor workflows, deadlines, negotiations, and escalations.
• Track open subrogation files, recovery status, aging demands, and follow-up cycles.
• Review vendor documentation, correspondence, and recovery outcomes for accuracy.
• Ensure team meets Reserv expectations for responsiveness and cycle time.
• Work with claims teams to provide complete referral information to vendors.
• Identify performance gaps and drive remediation.
• Maintain subrogation reporting on recovery trends and vendor performance.
