Job summary

Argo Group is seeking a Senior Commercial General Liability and Workers’ Compensation Claims Adjuster to join our Claims team. This is an in‑office role based in Richmond, VA, with flexibility to work from Omaha, Albany, Chicago, Los Angeles, or New York City, reporting to a manager in Rockwood, PA.

You will adjudicate complex indemnity and workers’ compensation claims across multiple jurisdictions, provide exceptional customer service, and contribute to loss control and settlements within

Qualifications

• Minimum five years’ experience adjudicating both CG liability and workers’ compensation claims in AL, CO, FL, GA, NC, NJ, NY, & SC.
• Bachelor’s degree required; two or more insurance designations or four additional years of related experience may substitute for degree.
• Must be licensed in AL, FL, GA, NC, NY, KY, and SC or able to obtain license within 120 days.

Responsibilities

• Adjudicate highly complex indemnity and workers’ compensation claims as well as commercial general liability claims.
• Provide laser-focused customer service and develop strong client and broker relationships.
• Investigate claims promptly and thoroughly, analyze policies, and determine coverage.
• Write coverage letters and manage claims in litigation.
• Negotiate settlements and manage reserves in line with policy and company standards.
