AmTrust Financial Services Inc. in Chicago seeks an experienced Subrogation Claims Manager to lead a team of Claims Adjusters, coach staff, and ensure adherence to company standards and Labor Code regulations.

The role focuses on performance management, process improvement, and effective claim handling. You will oversee reserving, documentation, settlements, and collaborations with management to build a high-performing unit while maintaining regulatory compliance and high-quality service for

Qualifications

• BA/BS or Equivalent
• 7+ years of claims leadership experience
• Licenses/certifications in insurance preferred (e.g., AINS, CSRP, CPCU)
• Experience in subrogation or liability claims management

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of Subrogation Claims Adjusters.
• Oversee reserving, communication, documentation, litigation management, evaluation, negotiation and settlement of claims.
• Ensure claim processing complies with policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines.
• Conduct performance evaluations and institute corrective action when needed.
• Manage complaints and report trends impacting clients or company.
• Identify process improvements to increase recoveries and efficiency.
