Responsibilities

• Identify subrogation opportunities.
• Investigate, negotiate, subrogate and settle first and third-party losses.
• Prepare and send subrogation packets and letters.
• Maintain recovery targets monthly.
• Ensure cases are called as scheduled and aging is monitored.
• Demonstrate professionalism when dealing with contacts.
• Maximize collections and support analytics to optimize.
• Document all activity accurately.
• Submit claims for referral.
• Respond to inquiries within 24 hours.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

The Subrogation Claims Specialist manages the subrogation process, ensuring the recovery of funds from liable third parties. This role involves investigating claims, negotiating settlements, and collaborating with legal and claims teams to maximize recoveries.

About the ROLE

• Identify subrogation opportunities.
• Investigate, negotiate, subrogate and settle first and third-party losses.
• Compile and send subrogation packets and letters.
• Maintain recovery targets set forth each month.
• Ensure cases are called as scheduled and aging is maintained.
• Demonstrate professionalism when dealing with contacts.
• Maximize Collection efforts and customer satisfaction; work with analytics to optimize
• Practice collection and research techniques to ensure timely resolution.
• Maintain accurate and complete documentation of all activity.
• Submit claims for referral
• Respond to inquiries within 24 hours to maintain customer service.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor/manager.

About YOU

• Insurance Claims Subrogation.
• Understanding of Arbitration Forums and E-Subrogation Hub websites preferred.
• Ability to effectively communicate (with insureds, claimants and other insurance companies to gather information.

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
