Qualifications

• AWS SAW certification within 90 days is required.
• Proficient knowledge of interpreting blueprints and weld symbols.
• Ability to read and interpret required internal manufacturing paperwork in English.

Responsibilities

• Fuse (weld) metal pole shafts with Submerged Arc Welding to make welds on pole shafts.
• Set up, operate and perform general maintenance of welding equipment.
• Make mathematical calculations for setup and product alignment.
• Use hand tools and measuring devices and monitor production data.
• Enter job data in the production tracking system.
