Job summary

Lockheed Martin Manassas is seeking a Systems Engineer for the Acoustic Rapid COTS Insertion Sonar Submarine team. You will drive requirements definition, MBSE modeling with Cameo/DOORS, and cross-discipline integration through the full product life cycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
• 2+ years of systems engineering processes experience including requirements development/management, CONOPS, interface design, and verification/test.
• Experience with MBSE tools and model-based diagrams (SysML/UML).
• Experience with C++, Python, or SQL scripting languages.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, decompose and verify system functional requirements across disciplines.
• Manage requirements baselines, system models, and verification processes using MBSE tools.
• Work with Navy counterparts to define complete system requirements and derive lower-level requirements.
• Develop system-level verification procedures and support certification activities.
