Job summary

Advanced Acoustic Concepts, LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary Thales Defense & Security Inc., is seeking a Sr. Systems Engineer to design, develop, and verify end-to-end systems for undersea warfare applications.

You will translate high-level strategies into system requirements and work with multiple engineering teams to ensure compliant, testable designs. The role emphasizes leading technical activities, delivering on schedule and within budget, and developing interfaces, verification procedures,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical field with a minimum of 5 years of experience.
• Fluency in technologies and application domain.
• Ability to lead a technical group independently.
• Demonstrated proficiency and experience with embedded systems highly preferred.
• Electrical and/or mechanical engineering knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering activities to completion on time and within budget.
• May lead a team of engineers to complete projects successfully.
• Design, develop, analyze, document and support testing of products, systems or subsystems.
• Review customer specifications and requirements and develop designs to support them.
• Provide budget, cost and schedule input for design assignments.
• Communicate clearly with company personnel and customers.
• Lead and direct the work of others as assigned.
