Job summary

General Dynamics Electric Boat in Groton, CT, seeks a Shipboard Network Systems Senior/Specialist Engineer to design, implement, monitor, and manage LANs aboard US Navy submarines. Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in CS/CE/CSN or EE is required.
• 5+ years of post-graduate engineering experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret DoD security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement network solutions meeting DoD standards.
• Perform technology investigations and trade-off studies.
• Document and manage installation of each network.
• Provide remote support and troubleshooting to Navy crews.
