General Dynamics Electric Boat in New London, CT, is seeking an entry-level Shipboard Network Systems Engineer to support LAN architectures aboard US Navy submarines. You will assist in design, testing, maintenance, and troubleshooting to ensure secure, reliable shipboard connectivity for crews.

You will work with senior engineers to learn shipboard systems, contribute to documentation, and grow core skills for network installation, testing, and sustainment in a fast-paced engineering

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in related field by May 2027.
• 0-5 years post-graduate engineering experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.

Responsabilidades

• Assist design, implementation, monitoring, and maintenance of LAN architectures aboard submarines.
• Support network installation, testing, and sustainment activities.
• Document installation steps and maintain records under supervision.
• Troubleshoot shipboard network faults with senior engineers.
• Provide remote assistance for routine Navy crew requests.
• Contribute to test forms and procedures for Navy applications.
