Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Systems and Networks or Electrical Engineering.
• 5+ years of post‑graduate engineering experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret DoD security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement network solutions that meet DoD standards and/or improve network efficiency.
• Perform technology investigations and trade‑off studies.
• Design and implement shipboard and laboratory configurations.
• Document and manage installation of each network.
• Maintain and upgrade existing systems.
• Troubleshoot shipboard issues and network faults.
• Provide remote support to Navy crews.
• Report design and construction status to stakeholders.
• Review and update test forms and procedures.
• Install and test Navy applications.
