Job summary

NDI Engineering Company is seeking an electrical/electronic engineer to support submarine communications systems, including RFDACS and MFM antennas, and to assist testing efforts for CSRR. The role is based at NSWCPD, Philadelphia Navy Yard, with travel to submarines and shipyards as needed.

The candidate should have a bachelor’s degree in electrical/electronic engineering, be a U.S. citizen, and ideally hold or be able to obtain a SECRET clearance. Travel up to 50% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical/electronic engineering is required.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% to support submarine systems.
• U.S. citizen or eligible to obtain and maintain a SECRET clearance (preferred).
• Experience with naval/submarine environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide electrical/electronic engineering support for submarine communications systems.
• Support RFDACS and Multifunction Mast (MFM) antenna systems on US Navy submarines.
• Travel frequently to support fleet antenna system modernization and SOVT testing onboard submarines.
