This opening is a contractor position supporting the US Navys Shipboard Electronic Systems Evaluation Facility (SESEF), which is part of the Naval Sea Systems Command (Navsea). SESEFs mission is to provide electromagnetic test and evaluation services to afloat and shore commands for the development of new and upgraded systems, to validate system performance following new construction and overhaul, and to provide real-time assessments of materiel readiness in an operational environment. We have several open-water test sites around the world, but this position is for our onsite operations at our Virginia Beach location. Our lead test facility provides essential services to the US Navy, Coast Guard, and Military Sealift Command activities as well as allied foreign navies. The overall mission for this position is to provide the US Navy and DoD engineering teams with a dependable and technically capable source for real-time comparative signal generation and analysis in an operational environment.
