Job summary

General Dynamics Electric Boat in Groton, CT seeks a Project Coordinator - Techaid to support the VIRGINIA Class integration program. The role focuses on coordinating Major Area teams, arranging VTC meetings with NAVSEA, and producing action items and reports to advance program milestones.

The candidate will assist MATLs/MAITLs, manage schedules, and prepare documentation for weekly reviews and commissioning efforts. A DoD clearance is required or obtainable.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–5 years of relevant experience with Excel, action tracking, and interacting with multiple management levels.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense secret clearance.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are essential.
• Proficiency with MS Office products, especially Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and assist Major Area team reviews and approvals with MATLs.
• Arrange meetings including video teleconferences (VTC) with NAVSEA and prepare summaries/reports.
• Develop and publish Major Area Team action items and assist in progressing schedules and sign-offs.
• Produce weekly reports for Forward End VIRGINIA programs to MAITL.
• Support Waterfront MAT action items and weekly status meetings for upcoming ships.
• Run reports and compile data packages for reviews and presentations.
