Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering required.
• 0–5 years post-graduate engineering experience.
• Ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance.
• Willingness to travel and support extended off-site assignments as needed.

Responsibilities

• Plan submarine maintenance, repair, and modernization work through clear procedures.
• Provide in-person proactive support to shipyard execution onboard submarines.
• Perform hands-on troubleshooting to remove execution roadblocks.
• Collaborate with ORE system engineers and interfacing departments for compliance.
• Evaluate technical rationale to support approval of non-conforming conditions.
• Support test and certification of systems affected by technical work documents.
• Assist with off-site projects at EB and Navy facilities.
• Develop understanding of non-nuclear submarine systems identified in technical documents.
