Qualifications

• Must be enrolled full-time at a college or university
• Must be able to commit to 8 consecutive weeks and 40 hours/week
• US citizenship is required
• Must be 18 years or older
• Able to pass medical screening and background check

Responsibilities

• Construction support and welding-related tasks
• Welding procedure qualification efforts
• Database development and literature reviews
• Shadowing engineers across welding engineering organization
• Review vendor procedures and repair plans for Navy specifications
• Material verification and testing support
• Development of composite material specifications and repair procedures
