Job summary

Amentum seeks Submarine Technician for Portsmouth, NH to install, validate, and service ISIS and RADAR systems aboard U.S. submarines. You will troubleshoot, verify electronic systems, and support engineering documentation and changes with a focus on Navy standards.

The role requires an active US Secret clearance, HS diploma or equivalent plus several years of practical submarine C5I experience. Domestic travel up to 15% is expected, with competitive hourly pay under SCA and comprehensive

Qualifications

Active Secret US Government Clearance (U.S. citizenship required)
High School Diploma/GED and five years of practical experience OR degree/formal training and three years of experience
Practical experience maintaining, troubleshooting, or repairing Submarine C5I systems/equipment
Experience with design, preparation, and modification of engineering documents and drawings

Responsibilities

Install, validate, and service ISIS and RADAR systems aboard U.S. submarines
Execute troubleshooting, corrective actions, and electronic system verifications
Review and support engineering change proposals and instructions
Assist in creating technical data, manuals, maintenance procedures, and drawing updates
Maintain documentation, logs, databases, and project tracking systems
Support engineering teams in installation, calibration, repair, fabrication, testing, and operation of electronic/mechanical systems
Ensure compliance with all engineering specifications and documentation requirements
Provide technical evaluations for components, installations, and system performance
