Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Radar Technician to support the In-Service Engineering Agent (ISEA) for Navigation and Surface Search Radar systems, including maintenance, testing, documentation, and training onboard ships.

The role requires active Secret US Government Clearance, Navy radar experience, and willingness to travel up to 25%+ including short-notice OCONUS assignments. Strong MS Office and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have an active Secret US Government Clearance.
• Former Navy Electronics Technician or civilian equivalent.
• Experience maintaining and troubleshooting Navy radar systems (AN/SPS-67 and AN/SPS-73(V)12).
• Willingness to travel >25%, including short notice OCONUS.

Responsibilities

• Support engineering efforts related to design, testing and analysis of radar system upgrades or modifications.
• Support documentation upgrades or modifications due to system improvements.
• Perform post-installation System Operational Verification Test (SOVT) and OJT for ship’s force.
